## What can be checked about Troveo?

[Troveo](/buyers/troveo) started with video and audio licensing and added business data in 2026, so some totals cover work other than business data.

## How big are the payout claims?

The $20M+ figure covers all of Troveo's licensing, which includes many video and audio rights holders, not only business-data owners. Its content-owners page says "$50M+" and shows no date. The pages I read do not reconcile the two.

Its guide states "typical deals start at six figures" for full company data and cites reporting on unnamed shutdown platforms for about $5,000 per repository and $10,000 to $100,000 per startup archive ([Troveo guide](https://www.troveo.ai/resources/how-much-is-company-data-worth)). The six-figure line is Troveo's own claim.

## What should you ask before sharing anything?
