# micro1 data partnership process, one line per step

## The short answer

micro1's data partnerships page lists four stages: a short assessment, a review by its team, a discovery call, then the partnership agreement. In an undated recorded forum talk, micro1's David Revland described an earlier, longer seven-step version. No total timeline is published.

## What does micro1's page say today?

The [data partnerships page](https://www.micro1.ai/data-partnerships) lists four stages:

1. **Get started** with a short assessment.
2. **Evaluation.** micro1's team reviews your submission to decide whether you fit.
3. **Discovery.** micro1 asks for more information and schedules a call.
4. **Partnership.** If approved, micro1 finalizes the agreement and data requirements, and the partnership begins.

## What did the earlier, undated account add?

In an undated recorded forum talk, David Revland, who works on human data at micro1, described seven steps. Treat them as history and confirm the current steps on your first call.

1. **Start.** A referral, a peer introduction or organic contact.
2. **First call** with a data partnership manager.
3. **Data manifest form.** Which services you use and a rough size for each. See [what a data manifest form is](/answers/what-is-a-data-manifest-form).
4. **A payment proposal** from [micro1](/buyers/micro1).
5. **Contract language.**
6. **Transfer,** with micro1's forward-deployed engineering team walking your IT team through it.
7. **Verification, then payment.**

## Who does the work on your side?

micro1's CFO estimated, in the same talk, about 10 hours from one or two of your IT people over a week or two (self-reported). A micro1 referral partner said in a micro1 video that no IT team is needed. [How long a data transfer takes](/answers/how-long-does-a-data-transfer-take) prints both.

## Who will you deal with at micro1?

The undated recorded talk named a data partnership manager, and the video named an enterprise client partner, engineers and account reps.

To reach micro1, the host said to email any panelist at their first name at micro1.ai or use the landing page on micro1's website. No URL was read out (self-reported).

## How long does the whole thing take?

No micro1 page or recorded-talk remark gives a total. The video partner said two to three weeks from interested to finished (self-reported). ## When does the money arrive?

After micro1 verifies the delivered data. The amount is set per deal, and [what micro1 pays](/answers/how-much-does-micro1-pay-for-company-data) lists its self-reported ranges (see also micro1's [referral page](https://www.micro1.ai/company-referral)). No outcome is promised, and micro1 may decline any company.

Run the [rights check](/rights-check) before the call, because the agreement puts your warranties about the data in writing. Talk to a privacy or commercial lawyer in your state before you sign.
