## The short answer

Troveo alternatives include micro1 and Handshake AI, which publish minimums and payment ranges, Mercor with 100+ tool connectors, Replay, which pays upfront plus a revenue share, Polyshares, which pays per license, and SimpleClosure for closing startups. Every figure is self-reported, and none is an offer.

[Troveo](https://www.troveo.ai/business-data) runs a marketplace that licenses company data to buyers for a revenue share. How its program works is in [Troveo business data](/answers/troveo-business-data). The options below take company records in other ways.

## Which Troveo alternatives publish their terms?

micro1, Handshake AI, Mercor, Replay, Polyshares and SimpleClosure each publish a size floor, a pay model or both on their own pages. Troveo states no minimum, and its estimator starts at 20 employees.

| Buyer or program | Minimum size | Stated range | Pay model | Payment timing | What you keep |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| [micro1](https://vaultfish.com/buyers/micro1) | 30+ employees, US first | Tiers of $100K+, $500K+, $1M+ | Paid under the agreed partnership | Not published | Companies keep ownership |
| [Handshake AI](https://vaultfish.com/buyers/handshake-ai) | 20+ full-time staff, 3+ years | $100K to $4M+ | License fee | 30 to 60 days after dataset acceptance | Not published |
| [Mercor](https://vaultfish.com/buyers/mercor) | None stated | Up to $300K, press report | One wire, no fees to you | 2 to 4 weeks after signing | Not published |
| [Replay](https://vaultfish.com/buyers/replay) | Bands start at 20 employees | $10K to $1M+ by headcount | Upfront plus revenue share | Upfront, then on each license | License only, nothing transferred |
| [Polyshares](https://vaultfish.com/buyers/polyshares) | None stated | $100K to $2M+ | License fee, no commission | Net 30 to 60 after approval | You keep data, exclusive by default |
| [SimpleClosure Asset Hub](https://vaultfish.com/buyers/simpleclosure) | None stated, closing or operating | $10K to $100K per company, press | A percentage on a sale or license | Not published | Perpetual license to SimpleClosure |

_Every figure is the company's own claim unless marked press. Terms change, so confirm on each company's page._

## Which Troveo alternative also shares revenue?

Replay is the closest match. It pays upfront plus a revenue share of every license, where Troveo pays only a share of each sale. Replay also publishes headcount bands, starting at $10K to $100K for 20 to 50 employees.

The two are compared line by line in our [Replay review](/answers/replay-review).

## What if the company is closing?

**[SimpleClosure](/buyers/simpleclosure) AssetHub** licenses source code and workspace data from startups that are winding down. [Gizmodo reported](https://gizmodo.com/failed-companies-are-selling-old-slack-chats-and-email-archives-to-train-ai-2000747916) nearly 100 deals at $10,000 to $100,000 per company.

Its AssetHub page says it takes a percentage only when assets are sold or licensed, and publishes no rate. See [SimpleClosure Asset Hub](/answers/simpleclosure-asset-hub). A free listing board, [BuyMyDeadStartup](/answers/buymydeadstartup), is also an option.

## What about sites that don't name a buyer?

Some sites collect your details and pass you to a partner they don't name, or publish no terms you can read. Ask who the buyer is before you share anything. Our [red flags page](/answers/ai-data-broker-red-flags) lists what to check.

Marketplaces such as Defined.ai and [Datarade](https://datarade.ai/) list packaged datasets, a different lane from company archives. See [Defined AI data marketplace](/answers/defined-ai-data-marketplace).

## How should a company choose between Troveo and the alternatives?

Ask each one the same questions: who is the legal entity, who receives the data, what share do I keep, and who holds liability if a recipient is breached. The [buyers directory](/buyers) and [deals tracker](/deals) keep the dated facts, and the [rights check](/rights-check) comes before any of them.

Talk to a privacy or commercial lawyer in your state before you sign.
