## The short answer

Troveo business data lets companies export records in four steps: get an estimate, agree terms, have Troveo package the data and, it says, anonymize it, then share revenue on each deal. Troveo says full-company deals start at six figures. The revenue share is unpublished. Every figure is Troveo describing itself.

[Troveo](/buyers/troveo) started with video and audio and now lists company data too ([announcement](https://finance.yahoo.com/sectors/technology/articles/troveo-accelerates-ai-model-development-130500935.html)). This page covers how the business-data program works. The evidence on the company is in [is Troveo legit](/answers/is-troveo-legit).

## How does the Troveo business data program work?

Troveo's [business-data page](https://www.troveo.ai/business-data) lays out its process in order.

Figure: steps Scope and agree terms -> Troveo says it anonymizes -> Get paid. Troveo's process runs from scoping your data to getting paid.

You answer a few questions for an estimate, sign standard terms, and Troveo says it anonymizes and packages the data with a manifest. It says nothing connects to your systems. You export the data, with Troveo guiding you, and it handles buyer conversations.

## What data does it list?

Eight system groups: chat, email and calendar, documents, work tools, CRM and support, business platforms, finance, and data and code. Named examples include Slack, Gmail, Google Drive, Jira, Salesforce, QuickBooks and GitHub.

The page also invites internal and custom systems. It states no minimum headcount. Its estimate tool's headcount options start at 20, which is a form setting rather than a stated floor.

## What does Troveo say it pays?

You "share in the revenue" on every sale, the first and each later one. Troveo says typical full-company deals [start at six figures](https://www.troveo.ai/resources/how-much-is-company-data-worth) and that a dataset can be sold again as new products, such as enriched sets and feeds.

The estimate tool's default shows $800K to $1M, labelled illustrative. Its FAQ says owners pay nothing: no fees, no setup costs, no deductions from payouts. The split between you and Troveo isn't published. See [Troveo revenue share](/answers/troveo-revenue-share).

## What does it say about privacy?

Names, contact details, credentials and client identities are scrubbed "under one documented standard," and buyers are introduced only after you sign. The standard isn't published, so nobody outside can check it.

Exclusivity is "time-limited" and ["has to be earned,"](https://www.troveo.ai/resources/exclusive-vs-non-exclusive-data-license) with exit terms in the agreement.

## What should you check first?

Request the owner agreement and the written standard, then run the [rights check](/rights-check) on every system you plan to export. Compare Troveo with other buyers in the [buyers directory](/buyers).

Talk to a privacy or commercial lawyer in your state before you sign.
