## The short answer

Troveo revenue share means you receive a percentage of each sale, but the percentage is unpublished. Its pages say you share in revenue on every sale with no fees or deductions. Ask for the split, how "net" is defined, and what comes off before your share.

The percentage is the one number every owner wants and no public [Troveo](/buyers/troveo) page gives. What follows is what the pages do say, dated, so you know what to ask for.

## What does Troveo say about its revenue share?

On the [business-data page](https://www.troveo.ai/business-data) Troveo says you "share in the revenue" on every sale, "the first and every one after." Its FAQ adds that owners pay "no fees, no setup costs, no deductions from your payouts" and that Troveo only makes money when you do.

Troveo also runs a video licensing line. A [Publish Press](https://news.thepublishpress.com/p/how-to-make-money-when-ai-uses-your-content) write-up says that line pays a share based on gross earnings, and Troveo's [content-owners page](https://www.troveo.ai/content-owners) calls those payments royalty-based. Neither states a percentage.

Figure: comparison of What Troveo's pages say about its split: Business data (Share of every sale), Video line (Share of gross), The percentage (emphasized: The percentage is unpublished, Unpublished). Troveo's pages describe a share for business data and for video, and the percentage is unpublished.

## Does Troveo publish a price list?

No. Troveo's own [cost guide](https://www.troveo.ai/resources/ai-training-data-cost) says there is "no price list for AI training data." It names scarcity, exclusivity, rights cleanliness and readiness as price drivers.

Its [company-data guide](https://www.troveo.ai/resources/how-much-is-company-data-worth) says typical full-company deals start at six figures. It cites about $5,000 for a single repository as an unnamed platform's baseline. Neither figure says what you would get.

## What does "net" mean in a Troveo deal?

Troveo's own assessment page uses "net earnings" language. The word suggests a deduction between the sale price and your share, and no public page defines it.

## What should you ask before you sign?

- What percentage of each sale do I receive, and is it fixed?
- How is "net" defined, and what comes off before my share?
- How long does exclusivity last, and what are the exit terms? Troveo says it is time-limited and ["has to be earned."](https://www.troveo.ai/resources/exclusive-vs-non-exclusive-data-license)
- Which buyer categories see my data, and can I decline one?
- When and how are payouts reported?
