How we are paid

By

We're an independent guide. micro1 may pay us a referral fee if a company we introduce goes ahead with it, on micro1's own terms for when it pays. No other company pays us one. You pay nothing extra, and any link that can earn us a fee is marked "paid link". A fee never changes how we describe micro1 or anyone else, and no company pays to be listed or ranked. We never take a percentage of your deal.

Next to every paid link sits an ordinary link to micro1's own page, so you can go there without one. Introductions are free. Nothing about your company goes to a buyer or program until you approve the summary and pick who gets it. You and that company deal directly. Before an introduction we tell you whether that company may pay us a fee.

The fit check, a discovery call, the tools, the guides and introductions are free to your company. Managed readiness is optional, scoped and quoted in writing before you pay. It costs the same whichever company you choose, or none.

If an advisor introduced you, we may pay them for the referral. A referral qualifies when the deal closes. Terms come in writing before any intro, and the amount is set in each written agreement. Your advisor gives you a one-page disclosure that says who pays whom and when, and that you may say no. Attorneys get no per-referral fee. CPAs have their own rules, and this page explains them.
