How it works with your advisor

  1. Run the free check

About three minutes. You get a result and one next step.

  2. Bring your advisor in

Share the result. They check it against your deal, your books or your closing.

  3. Pick a buyer, or don't

If one fits, Matt makes the intro. You decide, and your lawyer reads every contract.

How we make money

  1. The check is free. micro1 may pay us a referral fee if a company we introduce goes ahead with it. You pay nothing extra.
  2. If an advisor sent you to us, we may pay them for the referral. They tell you in writing first. Attorneys get no per-referral fee.
  3. The optional managed readiness review is paid by you and quoted in writing first.

Questions owners ask

Do I need an advisor to run the Vaultfish data check?

No. The Vaultfish data check takes about three minutes and you can run it alone. An advisor helps most once a buyer is in the picture.

Who should I talk to first about licensing company records?

Start with the free Vaultfish data check, then Matt. Bring your advisor in once you know the records are worth a closer look, and have your lawyer review every contract.

Will my advisor be paid if they send me to Vaultfish?

An advisor may be paid for a qualified referral, from Vaultfish, out of our own referral fee, and tells you in writing first. Attorneys get no per-referral fee, and a CPA takes none if their firm audits or reviews your books.

Does my advisor's referral fee cost me anything?

No. Any fee to your advisor comes from Vaultfish, out of our own referral fee, so you pay nothing extra.

Can I count on money from licensing my records?

No. Many company records are worth little. Published figures are each company's own claim, and none predicts what your records would earn.
