Can you license data to Anthropic? What is public

The short answer
License data to Anthropic? I found no public program or form. Anthropic's privacy policy says it obtains datasets through commercial agreements with third parties, but lists no intake. The Information reported Anthropic discussed $1B spending on RL environments. Epoch's review of those environments does not discuss real company archives.
This is a short page because the public record is short. It reflects searches and page reads.
Does Anthropic have a public data purchase program?
I found none. I searched for a data partnership or intake form. I also read Anthropic's public news and privacy pages. None had an intake for companies to license datasets.
What does Anthropic say about its data sources?
Anthropic's privacy policy lists the sources of personal data used to train its models.
One source is "datasets that we obtain through commercial agreements with third party businesses" (Anthropic privacy policy). That confirms such agreements exist. It does not say who the businesses are or what they sell. It does not say how a company reaches them.
What is the reported spending signal?
Epoch AI's review of RL environments relays a report from The Information. The report says Anthropic discussed spending over $1B on RL environments in the year ahead.
Epoch's interviews with vendors give these prices:
- A website-clone environment costs near $20,000.
- A Slack-grade clone costs near $300,000.
- Tasks cost $200 to $2,000.
The source is Epoch.
Epoch's review does not say whether real company data fills those environments. Treat the spending figure as a discussion reported by a news outlet. It is no commitment to buy your records.
Where does a company with records go instead?
Marketplaces and direct buyers run the programs you can apply to today. Who buys company data for AI compares the named buyers. License data to AI labs covers who sits between companies and labs.
I have no evidence that any marketplace's buyer is Anthropic. Marketplaces rarely name their buyers.
