License QuickBooks data to AI: what is verified

The short answer

Export QuickBooks reports and lists to license the data to AI. Troveo lists it. Intuit says customer data is not shared with its AI partners to train their models. I didn't read Intuit's own terms on its use. Financial records are among a company's most sensitive.

This page lists only what I could check at the source. Where a fact is missing, it says so.

Which companies name QuickBooks?

Troveo lists QuickBooks with Stripe, NetSuite, Pigment and Shopify under finance and operations.

micro1's data partnerships page lists finance and accounting among six areas. Mercor's data page doesn't name QuickBooks. All of it is self-reported. See financial data for the federal rules on client financial records.

How does a QuickBooks Online export work?

Intuit's help article says an admin opens Settings, picks Export data under the Tools column, and chooses reports and lists to download as Excel files in one zip. The data types include invoices, receipts, bills, estimates, purchase orders, the chart of accounts, and products and services. Attachments download as a zip.

What does Intuit say about AI and customer data?

Intuit's blog post says customer data is not shared with its OpenAI and Anthropic partners to train their models, and that its agreements prohibit that use. The post covers those partners.

It doesn't cover Intuit's own use of customer data, and I didn't find that statement at the source. It doesn't cover what you may do with an export either.

Whose records are in the QuickBooks file?

A company's books name its customers, vendors and staff. If the file is an accountant's or bookkeeper's, the books belong to clients. The FTC's Safeguards Rule lists an accountant or tax preparer as a financial institution, and the tax-return rules come with criminal penalties. The accounting firm page sets out the texts.
