What is a data manifest form?

The short answer
A data manifest form in micro1's program is the intake step listing your tools and rough data sizes. It asks which tools you use, like Google Workspace, Slack and GitHub. A referral partner said it takes under 10 minutes and a payment proposal follows within days. Companies cannot pre-scrub.
The form is one step in a longer process.
Where does the form sit in the process?
micro1's David Revland, who works on human data, described the corpus track in order in an undated recorded forum talk.
It starts with a referral, a peer introduction or a direct contact. A first call with a data partnership manager follows, then the data manifest form on micro1's data platform.
After that micro1 sends a payment proposal, then contract language, then the data transfer. Then it verifies the delivered data and pays.
What does the form ask?
Think of it as an inventory of your tools with a weight next to each. It asks which services the company uses and a rough size per tool. micro1's David Revland gave Google Workspace, Slack, project management tools and GitHub as examples.
The sizes are rough, and the talk described instructions for working them out. micro1's public pages do not mention a manifest form, so this description rests on the talk alone.
In a micro1 video, a micro1 referral partner walking through the form gave Google Workspace at about 3 TB and Slack at about 300 GB as example sizes (self-reported, about 2:20). They illustrate the form and are not thresholds.
Sizes help micro1 scope a deal. In the undated talk, micro1 staff also gave earlier eligibility figures, which are history.
micro1's own data partnerships page is the current source: 30+ employees, mature operations and primarily English documentation, with no data-size threshold stated.
Can I clean the data before I fill it in?
micro1 staff said in the same undated talk that companies cannot pre-scrub and that micro1 must transform the data itself, because redacting first would destroy the cross-platform trail it needs.
In that talk, micro1's David Revland described swapping a name for a consistent stand-in across tools.
The re-identification page explains why consistent stand-ins matter for privacy.
What do the payment figures look like?
micro1's data partnerships page lists tiers of $100K+, $500K+ and $1M+, and its Enterprise Data Partnership listing says $100K-$2M+ for approved data packages.
The CFO said in an undated recorded forum talk that deals near $2M are real. These are self-reported figures, and no outcome is promised. The deals page tracks dated deal reports.
