Datarade marketplace: how it works for data providers

The short answer

The Datarade marketplace is a site where data providers list their data and buyers ask for samples and prices. It claims 2,700+ providers. Providers pay a cut. A ZoomInfo page says it is a flat 30%, so get the rate in writing. Datarade does not buy company records.

Datarade turns up in searches about selling data because it's one of the best-known general data marketplaces, and it calls itself number one. It sits in a different lane from the AI-lab buyers.

What is the Datarade marketplace?

Datarade, run by Monda Labs GmbH, calls itself a global data marketplace with 2,700+ providers. Its categories include financial data, B2B data, geospatial data, healthcare data and AI training datasets (datarade.ai, self-reported).

Its pitch to providers is reach. It advertises 120,000 monthly visitors.

It was founded in Berlin in 2018. It raised about EUR 1 million in seed funding from HTGF in 2019 (HTGF). G2 showed 4.5 of 5 from 21 reviews in 2026.

What does a provider pay?

Datarade's homepage says buyers use it free and that it is "paid by the provider" when a purchase is made. The rate is where sources split.

A ZoomInfo page says Datarade charges a flat 30% commission on transactions. It adds that Monda's provider plans are quote-based with no public prices.

An earlier version of the same page listed 30% on a free plan, 20% on a $6,000 yearly plan and 15% on a $12,000 yearly plan. Datarade's own pricing page returned a not-found error when we tried it.

Does Datarade buy company data for AI labs?

No. Datarade lists products and introduces buyers. Then the buyer and provider settle terms between them. We found no Datarade program aimed at a company's internal Slack, email or ticket archive.

In plain words

Datarade sells finished products off a shelf. It does not buy raw records.

Think of it like this

It's a shop for tidy, labeled jars. The dusty boxes in your attic are a different kind of sale.

Where does it fit a company with data?

Datarade fits when you already package a dataset as a product. Think of a cleaned industry dataset, a company list or a feed. You write the listing, set the license and answer buyer requests. The commission comes out of the sale.

If your asset is the working record of your company, do the rights check first. A listing puts your name on the sale, and the promises in reps and warranties apply to you.

Programs for workplace records sit elsewhere. micro1, Mercor, Handshake AI and Troveo run them, and the program directory compares them.
