micro1 corpus deal vs workflows track: which fits?

The short answer

A corpus deal is a data partnership covering stored records, and micro1 says you keep ownership. The workflows track is repeat work grading an AI agent. micro1's Enterprise Data Partnership listing says approved data packages pay $100K-$2M+. A company can run both.

micro1 describes three ways into its program: a corpus deal, a workflows track and a referral. This page sets the first two side by side.

What is a corpus deal?

A corpus deal is the Enterprise Data Partnerships track. micro1 gets access to the records your company already stores, in one transfer, under a partnership agreement.

micro1 says companies keep ownership of their underlying data. Confirm licensed uses, duration, exclusivity and payment structure in the proposed agreement.

The data partnerships page lists $100K+, $500K+ and $1M+ tiers, and micro1's Enterprise Data Partnership listing says $100K-$2M+ for approved data packages.

micro1's CFO said in an undated recorded forum talk that a corpus deal pays $100K to $2M per company and that deals near $2M are real. David Revland, who works on human data at micro1, said micro1 may come back about six months later for a top-up of newer data.

What is micro1's workflows track?

In micro1's workflows track, employees use a general-purpose AI agent on their real daily work, then grade how it did and describe how it should have done the task. micro1 receives the evaluation and the agent's trajectory.

The company chooses how many employees take part and how often. In the undated talk, the CFO described pay per completed task of about $700 to $800 for a couple of hours of work. The captions on the recording are automatic, so treat that range as unconfirmed.

Can a company do both?

micro1's CFO said in the undated talk that a company can take part in both tracks. Revland described workflows as "another option once you complete your data corpus transfer."

Whether a company can run workflows without a corpus deal is not stated, so ask.

Here is the difference as I see it. The corpus deal looks backward at what you have stored, and the workflows track produces new records as people work.

micro1 also pitches the workflows track as a way for teams to get more fluent with AI agents, in its words "more AI native."

What should you check before choosing?

Both tracks put real work in front of micro1, so the rights questions travel with the data. The rights check asks the main ones.

The corpus track starts with a data manifest form, and how long a transfer takes covers the IT time. For the full walkthrough, read the micro1 data partnership guide.
