micro1 data partnership forum: recap of an undated talk

The short answer

The micro1 data partnership forum is a session series on its data program. This recaps an undated recorded talk from the third session: why micro1 wants company data, three ways in, the process, earlier eligibility figures and personal information. It is history. micro1's current pages govern.

Each section links to the page that covers the topic in full, and how micro1's data partnership works has the whole program.

Why did micro1 say it wants company data?

micro1 called itself a data lab that trains and improves AI models and agents. It said synthetic training environments imitate the real world, and in its words, "the ideal training environment is the real world itself."

Its CFO used a marketing budget request as the example. The value is the path from request to analysis to approval across tools, and the names and vendor line items matter less. See what micro1 is.

What are the three ways to take part?

A corpus deal, a recurring workflows track and a referral. The CFO said in the undated talk that a company can do the first two.

What is the process?

The undated talk described seven steps from first contact to verified payment. The process page lists them, and the transfer page covers the earlier 10-hour estimate.

What are the thresholds?

micro1's current public criteria list 30+ employees, mature operations and primarily English documentation, with US companies prioritized. Its pages state no data-size threshold.

The undated talk gave earlier figures: 20 full-time employees, about 1 TB of data, about 80% or more in English, any industry, and US and Canadian companies preferred.

Those are history, and they do not decide who qualifies now. The requirements page compares the two.

What did micro1 say about pay?

micro1's Enterprise Data Partnership listing says $100K-$2M+ for approved data packages, depending on size and value.

In the undated recorded talk, the CFO said a corpus deal pays $100,000 to $2 million per company and gave a per-task figure for workflows.

What did it say about personal information?

In the undated talk, micro1 said it transforms names instead of redacting them, and that companies cannot pre-scrub. See PII transformation.

What did a second pass of the undated recording add?

  • Transfer effort. In the undated talk, the CFO first said one or two people on the IT side, then described about 10 hours over a week or two from a single person (about 19:30).
  • Workflows scale. Some companies have dozens of employees doing workflow tasks, and the CFO's illustration was 1, 2 or 15 employees at about five tasks a week (about 20:00 to 20:50).
  • Track order. David Revland, who works on human data at micro1, called workflows an option after the corpus transfer, and the CFO said a company can do both (about 16:15).
  • Contact route. Email any panelist at their first name at micro1.ai or use the landing page. No URL was read out (about 25:30).

What is missing?

The date, a named buyer list and any testimonial from a partner company. The recording is not a contract, and the evidence table shows what can be checked.
